How old do I need to be to drive for Venezia?
Drivers must be at least 23 years old.

How much driving experience is required?
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last three years.

What type of CDL is required?
Drivers must have a current Class A CDL in good standing issued by the state in which they reside.

Are tanker or hazmat endorsements required?
Specific divisions may require a Tanker and/or Hazmat Endorsement.

Do I need a TWIC card?
Drivers must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).

What is the policy on DUI or DWI charges?
Applicants may not have any DUI or DWI charges within the last five years.

What driving violations would disqualify me?
Applicants may not have any reckless driving violations within the last five years or any careless driving violations within the last three years.

Are previous accidents considered?
Yes. All accidents and violations are subject to investigation. No rollovers are permitted within the last five years.

How many previous jobs can I have had?
Applicants may not have more than seven jobs within the last five years. Layoffs, company closures, and relocations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Do I need to meet English language requirements?
Yes. Applicants must meet English language proficiency standards.

What other requirements do I need to meet?
Applicants must pass a DOT physical, DOT pre-employment drug test, and company road test. Drivers must also be able to meet the physical demands of the position, maintain a professional appearance, and pass a case-by-case criminal history review.
