VENEZIA INSTALLS ON-BOARD SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

LIMERICK, PA.

November 5, 1999 --

Venezia Transport Service Inc., Hauling Inc. has installed the Qualcomm OmniTRACS satellite tracking and communications system in its fleet of equipment.    According to Louis Capolino, Vice President of Operations for Venezia, OmniTRACS is designed to improve fleet operating efficiency by continuously tracking vehicle location and calculating ETA information and load forecasts.

The system also will enhance on-board conveniences by providing drivers with a continuous two-way mobile communications link and e-mail capabilities. This added communications amenity- which also will link drivers to personal email accounts- is expected to strengthen the company's already-high driver retention rate, Capolino said.  "The new system allows our operations center to continuously monitor the progress and positioning of our fleet and to stay in constant touch with each of our drivers through email," Capolino said. "This venture restates our company-wide commitment to providing the technology to keep our drivers and our fleet on the leading edge of the industry. And it provides those all-important personal connections that our company encourages and that today's professional operator expects.

The system will be fully operational in Venezia's entire fleet by
January 1, 2000.
