VENEZIA DRIVERS STAY IN TOUCH WITH CABCARD

Limerick, PA.  (December 8, 2000) -- Staying close to home from anywhere on the road has become even easier and more affordable at Venezia with CabCARD, now available to all drivers for the Pennsylvania-based fleet.
According to the Executive Vice President Andrew Venezia, the company purchased the CabCARD system strictly as a benefit to the company drivers and owner operators.
"We are happy to bring yet another personal benefit to our drivers." Venezia said.  "CabCARD  will allow our operators to keep in touch with friends and family in a more timely and direct manner and at a rate lower than those charged for telephone or cell phone calls."
CabCARD works through the OmniTRAX satellite tracking and communications system purchased and installed earlier this year in Venezia's entire fleet of dry vans and tankers.  A pre-paid debit card, CabCARD can be used to make reduced rate long distance phone calls or to send or receive e-mail messages through the cab-based OmniTRAX system.
"At Venezia, we are committed to retaining our on-the-road professionals by offering the best pay and bonus packages in the industry and by bringing to our drivers the latest and best available technology," Venezia said.   "CabCARD is simply another way for us to show that we appreciate the job they do for our customers."
